Tea Plantations & Villages
Ethnic Minorities, Family friendly, Sight seeing
Half Day or Full Day
Price: From 145 USD
Embark on a truly unique experience on this day trip with adventure into Vietnam’s central highlands. We cruise past the Thu Bon river delta to the ethnic minority Co Tu village of Bho Hoong where we get to experience the village first hand and enjoy a guided village walk with a local resident and the opportunity to partake in a traditional Co Tu lunch with a music performance.
Afterwards we’ll make our way to another Co To town called Trung Mung where we visit the former king of the Co Tu people, Y Khong and his family and enjoy a delicious cup of tea or coffee (or for the more adventurous, a nip of traditional CoTu rice wine) while admiring the traditional wood carvings and other Co Tu cultural items.
Your return to Hoi An is a scenic trip, via a slightly different route, taking in the spectacular Non Nuoc beach, allowing time to explore the area before returning to Hoi An.
Tour starts at 7.30am and finishes approx. 5pm.

Hands down one of the best things I have done in South East Asia. The weather was perfect and as our beautifully revamped US army jeep arrived to pick us up from our hotel. The day was fantastic from start to finish. Immediately we were seeing areas that were vacant from tourists and really stunning. Our guide was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable on every question we asked him – and as we drove higher into the mountains we felt like we were on a proper adventure. The local people we met were very friendly, a beautiful lunch was provided in the hills, the driver was exceptional and very safe. If we wanted to change the itinerary it was always accommodated and everything was topped off with a cold beer back at the garage as the sun went down.
